Diwali @ Office

Tomorrow is the festival of light, Diwali, but its the same old story for me … slog at office I booked the tickets to BBSR three months ago, bought gifts for everyone had big plans to celebrate Diwali with folks at BBSR, but had to cancel my plans at the very last moment, as I will be going there next month and wanted leaves then. Well no grudges for that, but am pissed off with the thought that I have to spend it here in office and that too till 9 pm, have a concall at 8.30…. My teammate got his leave approved and went home last friday, TL’s working from home and even I approved my kamwali bai’s leave  Guess thats life, makes you do things that you hate the most… 

You can take me out of Diwali, but you cant take Diwali out of me I am not going to spend my Diwali like this. This morning went out and bought few diyas, candles and will buy few crackers tomorrow. Even I will buy a gulab Jamun mix and make them tomorrow missing my moms Diwali special gulab jamuns Will start my Diwali a bit later … may be at 9.30 but will have a Diwali !!!!
